A brief on COENAR and new hire:

COENAR is a consulting, engineering, architecture and project management company established in Istanbul. COENAR is in the process of hiring new personnel for various positions to allocate for the current services provided to a Foreign Investment Company, hereinafter referred to as the "Client" or the "Company". COENAR serves as a consultant and contractor for both the PgMO (Program Management Office) and PMO (Project Management Office) service model to Client's new and current development projects. The new personnel to be hired will have roles in PgMO and hence will work at the Client's Kağıthane Headquarter. They will report to both the Client managers and the COENAR directors. The details of the full time hiring criteria are as follows.

JOB SUMMARY:

• For all CLIENT's Türkiye entities, manage, plan, prepare, provide and follow-up:

o IFRS group reporting and statutory financials.

o Annual budgets (5 years plans) and quarterly reforecasts for all CLIENT's Türkiye entities.

o Monthly management reporting packs (“MRP”).

• Managing the group accounting and reporting systems (Such as Oracle, Hyperion)

• Ensure compliance of IFRS & CLIENT's Accounting policies for the budgets and reports.

• Manage internal/external audit processes.

ROLES & RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Perform effective, timely and accurate handling of all aspects of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.

• Ensure compliance of IFRS financial reporting.

• Reporting the financial implications of the updated development plans through impairment review process.

• Efficient coordination of the group financial reporting process to ensure the group results fairly present the financial position and results of operations in accordance with international reporting standards, ensuring timely and appropriate presentation to various stakeholders.

• Review of carrying values of assets including impairment assessments.

• Managing all process to upload and validate the MRPs on Hyperion system.

• Co-ordinate with external auditors for the group reporting and statutory audits on a timely manner.

• Work closely with local accounting team (including outsource companies) to ensure receiving the information and reports (journals, sub-ledgers, trial balances, income statements and balance sheets) on time at month closes to provide the MRPs in timely manner.

• Work Closely with CLIENT's general ledger, consolidation, reporting and budget teams.

• Furnish finance manager and respective teams in CLIENT's with sufficient information, data and reports under his / her field when needed.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.

IDEAL CAPABILITIES / SKILLS:

BUSINESS CAPABILITIES:

• 5+ years of experience in finance and reporting.

• Strong analyzing, mathematical and MS Office (Excel) knowledge.

• Professional qualification (Such as CIMA, ACCA, CFA) preferred. Part qualification is acceptable.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

• Strong communication ability.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and committed.

• Ability to work under high pressure within fixed time frames.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or economics (Or Masters / MBA in one of those fields acceptable).
